Every Cursed Technique, Explained
Innate techniques, cursed tools, and Domain Expansions — how they work, what they cost, and who's strong enough to use them.
No cards in this category — Domain Expansions are showcased in the spotlight section below ↓
Limitless
User: Satoru Gojo
Manipulates the concept of infinity to keep any approaching object or force from ever closing the final distance, forming the basis for both Gojo's neutral defense and his offensive Cursed Technique Lapse: Blue.
Divergent Fist
User: Yuji Itadori
Splits a punch into two waves of cursed energy — an unarmed shockwave that lands a half-beat after the visible strike, hitting the target twice from a single motion.
Ten Shadows Technique
User: Megumi Fushiguro
Summons shikigami from a shadow "chest," each with distinct combat roles — from the divination dog to the Eight-Handled Sword Divergent Sila Divine General Mahoraga, the technique's ultimate and unpredictable form.
Blood Manipulation
User: Toge Inumaki (variant) / Choso
Converts cursed energy into blood and controls it at will — hardened into blades, launched as piercing bullets, or used to patch wounds mid-fight.
Cursed Speech
User: Toge Inumaki
Turns spoken words into binding commands the target's body must obey — powerful enough to control enemies outright, at the cost of Inumaki having to seal his own voice in daily life.
Reversed Cursed Technique
Known users: Gojo, Shoko, Yuta
Runs cursed energy in reverse to generate positive energy, used almost exclusively for high-speed healing — one of the rarest applied skills in the jujutsu world.
Idle Transfiguration
User: Mahito
Rewrites the "soul shape" of anything touched, permanently altering flesh at will — the single most dangerous technique for a sorcerer to fight up close.
Boogie Woogie
User: Aoi Todo
Swaps the positions of any two objects or people touched with both hands within its range — deceptively simple, and brutal when paired with a hard-hitting partner.
Straw Doll Technique
User: Kento Nanami
A ratio technique that multiplies damage sevenfold against a target once "measured" — turns Nanami's precise strikes into fight-ending blows.
Cursed Womb: Death Paintings
User: Kenjaku (via hosts)
Grants the ability to birth and command the "death paintings" — a family of powerful curses including Hanami, Jogo, Dagon, and Choso's brothers.
Playful Cloud
User: Maki Zenin
A heavy, spring-loaded staff that channels cursed energy into devastating blunt strikes — one of Maki's core weapons after abandoning her clan's inherited techniques.
Disaster Flames
User: Jogo
Generates and directs volcanic fire at massive scale, capable of leveling city blocks — one of the more raw, high-output techniques among the special grade curses.
Black Flash
Achieved by: Yuji, Megumi, Nobara, Maki, Todo
A cursed energy strike landed within 0.000001 seconds of physical contact, multiplying damage 2.5x — a milestone most sorcerers spend years chasing.
Domain Expansion Spotlight
The pinnacle of cursed technique — a guaranteed-hit barrier built around the user's innate ability. Only a fraction of sorcerers ever learn one.
Unlimited Void
Gojo's domain floods the target with infinite information, freezing them in place unless they can break free of the overload.
Malevolent Shrine
Sukuna's domain fills its radius with cleaving slashes, striking anything inside — allies included — without mercy.
Chimera Shadow Garden
Megumi's domain floods the space with shadow, letting every shikigami he commands move and strike at once.
Coffin of the Iron Mountain
Kenjaku's domain compresses the target's information into an unrecognizable form, erasing their identity outright.
Idle Death Gamble
Toji's domain (via the Prison Realm cursed corpse) traps the target in a barrier promising instant death on the next confirmed hit.
Uzumaki
Hakari's domain locks both user and target into a coin-flip gamble — total victory or total, catastrophic loss.
Self-Embodiment of Perfection
Kokichi Muta's (Mechamaru's) domain is deployed remotely through his puppet, striking from a location the caster is never actually in.
Domain Amplification
Not a domain itself, but a rare counter-technique that lets a sorcerer strengthen an ally's domain from the outside — seen used by Gojo and Sukuna alike.
Simple Domains & Barrier Techniques
Not every barrier is a full Domain Expansion — these related techniques share the same defensive logic on a smaller scale.
Simple Domain
A lightweight barrier that can intercept an incoming Domain Expansion without the caster needing one of their own.
Domain Over Sure-Hit
When two domains without a Sure-Hit Effect clash, whichever technique is objectively superior automatically wins.
Sure-Hit Effect
The defining feature of a true Domain Expansion — any attack matching the domain's effect is guaranteed to land.
Domain Collapse
Sacrifices the domain's barrier for a single burst of raw power — a last-resort option Gojo used against Sukuna.
